One of my students read this book during the summer of 2009 and really enjoyed it. As a matter of fact, the book inspired her to lead a series of Earth Week/Earth Day activities on our campus this coming April. An example of one of the activities that she is leading is a day during Earth Week where we will have 3-4 eco-friendly cars on campus for our community members to see. We'll have a Tesla all-electric roadster, a vegetable oil converted diesel car, and even a hydrogen powered vehicle.
Ask your school/neighborhood librarian to add this to your library!
